Micah Edmonds is content creator, video editor, musician and audio producer based in Melbourne, Australia. With a passion for writing, video editing, audio production and cinematography, he's turned his hand at a wide array of content styles, which has earned him a highly engaged following completely organically.

 

An all-round editor, whether it's for a casual podcast-style ramble about his favourite films; high-level interviews with fellow creatives; crafting a parody song or sketch or a densely scripted deep-dive into the minuta of a videogame, Edmonds has crafted an online content style known for both it's unpredictability and it's authenticity. Regarded for his emotionally engaged longform video essay work, his media analysis is centered on the humanity in art media - both in it’s creation and it’s resonance with audiences. As concerned with form and artistic approach as with the very purpose of a work, he's able to offer unique and cutting insights alongside subtle but striking visual and audio editing as if the content were itself a piece of art in tune with the subject.

 

Turning his skills to short form and vertical content for both his personal channels but also for businesses, Edmonds has also created dynamic, effective and enjoyable work for mobile platforms. Anything from short video to product photography from ideation, through production and editing and delivery.

 

Also a lover and performer of music, songs are a central pillar of his work. Edmonds has released self-produced work in various acts and bands. He recorded, mixed and produced his first bands' album in 2019 (House Parties by Two Tale,) and currently plays and releases solo as The Cinema, Alone. He is also the drummer for Bendigo's premiere alt-rock band Earth Cadet.
